About Steven Hunter

Steven Hunter’s sculpting career spans 15 years, during which time he has undertaken a number of private sculpting commissions as well as woriking in the TV and film industries. Steven is used to working in large scale, having worked on pieces 10m high. His commissioned work can be seen indoors and outdoors across the south of England including Harrods, Stringfellows Nightclub and Nicole Farhi’s clothes store in Bond Street.



He was educated at Southwark College of Art & Design where he gained a B/Tec in Art and Design before going on to specialise in Figurative Sculpture at Stafford College. Here he gained both a College Diploma and HND in Figurative Sculpture. Figurative art is derived from real people and objects and are representational. The art form requires precision and a detailed understanding of the geometry of the world we live in.


Steven lives in South London, and when he isn’t sculpting, enjoys playing guitar and listening to music, as well as playing football, watching films and reading.
